Adani-Diva Shah Wedding: The coming marriage of Jeet Adani, son of businessman Gautam Adani, and Diva Shah on February 7 is shaping to be an event that marries time-honoured traditions with socially responsible relevance. Although the family has denied stories of an entertainment extravaganza featuring Taylor Swift and other stars from global frontiers, this wedding is getting lobbying for the consideration of inclusiveness and empowerment.
Earlier this week, Jeet and Diva went to Mitti Cafe, located at Mumbai Airport, which is managed by disabled people. They invited the cafe workers to their wedding, which now will be held in Ahmadabad on February 7. Reports now suggest that Jeet Adani and Diva Shah's wedding will also see collaborations with various NGOs backed by the Adani Group to form some meaningful celebrations.

Gifts for guests
The actual work for the wedding celebration will involve extra contributions on the part of various NGOs and artisans. The Adani family has partnered with FOD from Delhi and Kai Rassi from Chennai.
The couple will receive hand-painted shawls from the Family of Disabled (FOD), aimed at providing financial independence to people with disabilities. In return, Kai Rassi will do placards and digitally printed plates to celebrate their artistry.
As for handcrafted wedding gifts, artisans from the Adani Foundation will supply them. Everything will begin with the guests.
The guests at Jeet Adani and Diva Shah's wedding will receive handwoven Paithani sarees specially woven by 400 karigars or craftsmen. The Jagdish Ji Shankari Paithani Sarees from Nashik will make and supply the Paithani sarees that will be gifted to guests.
Gautam Adani, chairman of the Adani Group, had earlier announced that the wedding of his younger son Jeet Adani would be a low-key one, only for family members and very close friends.

An artist called Prakash Ji, who nails, will be giving away intricately designed bookmarks done with his unique technique. Munna Ji and his daughter Nazmeen, from Firozabad, will contribute exquisite glass arts as wedding props.
For this cause-based wedding, Bibaji Churiwala from Jodhpur would supply three kinds of bangles, one of which is Lac bangles, an Indegenous craft. On the other hand, Nitaben and her self-help group Meghdhanush Saheli of Mundra, who have been with the Adani Foundation since 2016, will supply mud art pieces made by their members, showcasing an art quite peculiar to them.
