Haryana: Private School Principal Stabbed to Death by Two Teenage Students in hisar

In a gruesome case reported at Narnaund of the Hisar district in Haryana, the principal of a private school was killed by two students with knives on Thursday morning. The principal of the school Jagbir Singh Pannu, was found out to be the victim. The police claimed this to be following the scolding by the principal on their failure to shave the hair.

Police Superintendent Amit Yashvardhan told reporters that the incident was reported at about 10.30 am when the police got a tip off that Pannu had been stabbed with a knife. The most credible suspects are two teenage boys who allegedly are students of Class 11 and 12. Both accused and the victim belonged to the same village.

Preliminary research indicates that the killing might have been occasioned by the moves by the principal to instill discipline in students. Jagbir Singh Pannu had a strict way of questioning students who violated the rules in the school. One of the things which he is said to have been demanding was proper uniform and appearance and he regularly inspected students to check whether they were maintaining code of conduct something which is the standard requirement of a school head.

SP Yashvardhan said, "Two minor students of Kartar Memorial School in Bas village of Narnaund town, stabbed their school Principal to death in anger, after the principal told the children to come to school with cut hair and maintain discipline."

The two running students have been in search by police teams and raids are going on where the police are trying to find the duo. An one folding knife has already been recovered in the scene and the nature of stab wounds inflicted will only be ascertained as and when the post-mortem report, then in progress in Hisar will be ascertained.

A school principal in Hisar was stabbed viciously to death by two high senior school boys because he had reprimanded the boys due to non-cutting of their hair.
