Haryana Imposes Mobile Internet and SMS Ban in Nuh Effective July 21

In the mob fight at least 5 people died with several injured people as a result of it. Officials had said the violence was triggered by a rumor that Bajrang Dal member and cow vigilante Monu Manesar, was paid to murder

In order to prevent these incidents from happening again this year the Haryana Government has been taking extreme measures to avoid any disturbance in Yatra. local police, commando units, mounted police, dog squads, and bomb squads are posted in the district just in case anything happens. The Nuh police, utilizing drones and dog squads are doing regular patrolling and operations to ensure security and peace.
Yatra will be monitored by CCTV cameras and drones Ten inter-state and inter-district checkpoints will reportedly be established from the evening of July 21 to the evening of July 22. The meat and poultry shops will be closed for the fair. The shop owners have been ordered to close or relocate from the Yatra route temporarily until the Yatra passes.

Police have ordered a strict ban on weapons in vehicles during Yatra including swords, spears, tridents, knives, pistols, hockey sticks, and batons. A special team has been appointed to keep in check on social media for any post that potentially can disturb the smooth progression of the yatra without any dispute or harm to anyone.
Haryana government on Sunday ordered shutting the internet down along with bulk SMS services in Nuh district for 24 hours. The mobile internet and the bulk SMS services will not be accessible until 6 pm Sunday.
"... there is an apprehension of causing tension, annoyance, agitation, damage of public and private property and disturbance of public peace and tranquility in the district Nuh..," Haryana Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Anurag Rastogi said in an order
