Apart from these international titles, India was on the verge of creating history with the double nominations for Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light.
The film, starring Kani Kusruti and Divya Prabha, lost in the Best Non-English feature award category to Emilia Perez, and Payal missed out on the final cut in the Best Director category, which Brady wony for The Brutalist.
The 82nd Golden Globe Awards event in India was streamed on Lionsgate Play.

The Best Motion Picture Non-English Language also had nominees in “The Girl With the Needle” (Poland), “I’m Still Here” (Brazil), “The Seed of the Sacred Fig (Germany) and “Vermiglio” (Italy).
“Emilia Perez”, which also won Zoe Saldana a Best Supporting Actress Globe, follows four remarkable women in Mexico, each pursuing their own happiness. Brady Corbet took home the Golden Globe for best director for his epic period drama "The Brutalist" as Hollywood kicked off its awards season on Sunday.

Corbet beat French favourite Jacques Audiard for “Emilia Perez”, Sean Baker for "Anora," Edward Berger for papal thriller "Conclave," Coralie Fargeat for "The Substance," and Payal Kapadia for “All We Imagine as Light”.
“All We Imagine As Light” has also secured spots in the longlist of BAFTAs.
The win for Emilia Perez comes after a successful start to the night for the film, as Zoe Saldaña triumphed in the category for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture. Saldaña's performance outshone her co-star Selena Gomez, securing her first Golden Globe in this category.
Emilia Perez has made an impact at the 82nd Golden Globes, garnering a total of 10 nominations, making it the most-nominated film of the evening. The movie’s strong showing highlights its widespread recognition, cementing its place as a major contender in the global film industry.
The Golden Globe Awards, telecast in the US on Sunday night, are streaming live in India on Monday on Lionsgate Play.
