Gold and Silver Rates Today On September 6: After a drop in the gold rate the previous day, the gold rate today in India has slightly increased.

On September 6, the 22-carat gold rate is priced at Rs 66,830 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate today stands at Rs 72,900 per 10 grams.

The 22-carat gold price today has increased by Rs 140 compared to the previous day’s price while the 24-carat gold price today also went up by Rs 140 in the last 24 hours.

Yesterday the gold rate for 22-carat was priced at Rs 66,690 per 10 grams and the gold price for 24-carat stood at Rs 72,760 per 10 grams.

Furthermore, the 22-carat gold rate per gram today stands at Rs 6,668 and the 24-carat gold price is valued at Rs 7,275 per gram.

The gold futures contracts in the MCX expiring on October 2024 were up by Rs 68 and were trading at Rs 71,985 per 10 gm while the silver contracts went up Rs 42 and were trading at Rs 84,998 per kg.

The gold and silver prices are mainly affected by the tax rates, demand and supply, US dollar value and many others.

However, the gold and silver prices dropped significantly in July after the government introduced the Union Budget which reduced the taxes imposed on gold and silver from 15% to 6%.

This reduction in tax rate led to a massive decline of Rs 4,000 in gold and silver rate.
