Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 8: After staying unchanged in the previous day, the gold rate today in India has slightly decreased.

On Tuesday, October 8, the 22-carat gold price today is priced at Rs 71,000 per gram while the 24-carat gold price today is valued at Rs 77,450 per 10 grams.

The gold rate today for 22-carat has decreased by Rs 190 in the last 24 hours while the gold rate for 24-carat went down by Rs 210 compared to the previous day's price.

On Monday, October 7, the 22-carat gold rate yesterday was priced at Rs 71,190 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate in India stood at Rs 77,660 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the gold rate for 22-carat per gram stands at Rs 7,136 and the gold price for 24-carat is valued at Rs 7,783 per gram.

The silver rate today in India is valued at Rs 96,000 per kilogram, the silver price has decreased by Rs 1000 compared to the previous day’s price.

In MCX, the gold futures expiring on December 2024 were trading at Rs 76,050 per 10 gm while the silver futures in MCX maturing on December 2024 were increased by Rs 37 and were trading at Rs 92,394 per kg.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.

The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
