Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 7: The gold rate in India today remained unchanged for the second consecutive day.

On Monday, October 7, the 22-carat gold rate is priced at Rs 71,190 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate in India stands at Rs 77,660 per 10 grams.

The gold price for 22-carat and 24-carat today in India has remained unchanged in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the gold rate for 22-carat per gram stands at Rs 7,136 and the gold price for 24-carat is valued at Rs 7,783 per gram.

The silver rate today in India is valued at Rs 96,900 per kilogram, the silver price has increased by Rs 100 compared to the previous day’s price.

In MCX, the gold futures expiring on December 2024 went up by Rs 47 and were trading at Rs 76190 per 10 gm while the silver futures in MCX maturing on December 2024 were increased by Rs 151 and were trading at Rs 93,500 per kg.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.

The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
