German Woman Alleges Rape by Car Driver in Hyderabad: A case of alleged rape was reported on Monday in Hyderabad's Pahadi Shareef area, where a 22-year-old German woman was said to have been raped by a man, offering her a lift. Special police teams were formed after the information reached them and apprehended the guilty person.

As per the report of the victim, the car driver had raped her in the rear seat of the car during the late evening hours on Monday.

Rape case filed against the accused driver according to the police, who were informed that the victim has been sent for medical examination news agency PTI reported.

The other German national was traveling with the accused German woman to Hyderabad on March 4 to visit a friend there. This Monday, she and her German companion were in the company of a car driver, who gave them the so-called lift.

There were reportedly other people in the vehicle, who later got down.

Just before the Mamidipally area, the woman's German friend also got out. She further went in the car to Mamidipally along with the driver to take some pictures at around 7.30 pm.

She later told her friend from Germany that the car driver had "raped" her. The victim then informed the police of the matter.

In response to the complaint, police conducted an operation to track down the accused and detained him. Meanwhile, investigation is still underway.

The German arrived with another German national in Hyderabad on March 4th to meet a friend.
