Ekta Kapoor and her mother in legal trouble after allegation of showing inappropriate scenes in Gandii Baat

Ekta Kapoor and her mother in legal trouble: Indian film producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor are going through a legal dispute. An FIR has been registered against the producer and mother under the POCSO Act for reportedly showing inappropriate scenes of teenage girls in an episode of alt Balaji new series Gandii Baat.

The case was against the gandii baat season 6 on Alt Balaji, an OTT platform.

However the case was filed at MHB police station in Mumbai against Balaji Telefilm Limited, Ekta Kapoor, and her mother, Shobha Kapoor and is based on sections 295-A of the IPC, the IT Act, and sections 13 and 15 of the POCSO Act.

As per the official report, the gandii baat season which was showed on Alt Balaji between February 2021 and April 2021 contains inappropriate scenes of girls.

Currently, gandii baat episode is available to stream as it has been blocked after the allegations.

Furthermore, Ektaa's film Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2 aired in theatre on April 19. Ektaa Kapoor team shows the audience the reality of our digitally obsessed society by showing a couple who are intimate and also avoid digital obsession.
