Delhi Roads Flooded After Rain: IMD on Friday issued an orange alert over Delhi as the national capital was experiencing continuous rainfall for the past two days. On Friday, Delhi experienced 150 mm of rainfall for almost 3 hours.

Delhi Roads Flooded After Rain: After continuous severe heatwave conditions, Delhi experienced heavy rainfall for straight two days which has caused several parts of Delhi to be flooded.
Videos and photos have gone viral on the Internet also showed that fallen trees are blocking the roads causing a huge traffic jam.
Videos also showed that several vehicles and citizens are facing huge problems due to waterlogged in several parts of Delhi.
Even water has entered the houses of people damaging Household items and furniture
Reports also stated that four people were injured and 1 person was killed when a part of the roof at Terminal 1 fell due to the extreme rain.

As per the official news, all the services and departure exits have been closed for safety purposes.
Several flights have also been canceled due to the extreme rainfall conditions causing disrupted the busy schedule of many passengers.
Along with flight service metro service has also been disrupted as the areas in front of many exit gates have been flooded in several parts of Delhi.

The reports from the weather department stated that they expect thunderstorms and gusty winds for the next two hours over Delhi.
India Today reported that several parts in the Noida area including Mathrua Road, Teen Murti Marg, Moolchand, Minto Road, Anand Vihar, Mehrauli Badarpur Road, Mandawali, Bhikaji Cama Place, Madhu Vihar, Pragati Maidan, Munirka, Dhaula Kuan, Moti Bagh and ITO are flooded due to heavy rain.
The Delhi traffic police have also issued a traffic advisory letting the citizens know about the blocked roads and flooded areas in Delhi.
In a tweet posted by Delhi Traffic police said, “Traffic is affected on W-Point Tilak Bridge road in both the carriageways from A-Point to W-Point and vice-versa due to waterlogging below Tilak Bridge W-point. Kindly plan your journey accordingly.”
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reports on Thursday, June 27 stated that heavy rainfall is expected over Delhi for the next two or three days due to the appearance of the southwest monsoon.
