Delhi Police Nabs 4 Armed Criminals in Jafrabad; Guns, Ammo & Stolen Vehicles Seized

Delhi Police Nabs 4 Armed Criminals in Jafrabad: At around 9:30 PM on April 7, 2025, a special operation was set in motion on intelligence developed by police. A team led by Jafrabad's Station House Officer, Inspector Surender Kumar, which also included Sub-Inspector Jitender, Police Sub-Inspector Lalan Singh, Assistant Sub-Inspector Harshay, Head Constable Joginder, and Head Constable Ashok conducted the operation under the able guidance of Vivek Tyagi, who as Additional Commissioner of Police is in charge of the Bhajanpura area.
Team PS Jaffrabad took down 04 dreaded criminals armed with sophisticated weapons. During the operation officers confiscated two semi-automatic pistols with it came 22 live cartridges and one spare magazine for these pistols. Besides that, two stolen two-wheelers were recovered from these suspects which show their involvement in crime. The arrest was a feather in the cap of the team's commitment towards maintaining safety and security in the area.
Operatives indeed recovered a cache of sophisticated weapons and ammunition from the suspects, which indicates serious criminal intentions and thorough investigations about their backgrounds. This is indeed an operation which finds the Jafrabad police putting its teeth firmly into crime and community safety.
Ajeem, known as Mota, was arrested for being in possession of one pistol and five live cartridges and is 23 years old. The son of Naeem, he lives at House Number 188, Gali Number 10, Jafrabad. He has a criminal history with one case registered against him.
Asim, the son of Shamshad, House No. 27, Gali No. 1, close to Chand Masjid in Jafrabad. At the age of 20, he was arrested with five live cartridges and a spare magazine for a pistol which indicates that he intended to involve himself seriously in armed activities.

Fardeen is the son of Deen Mohd and lives at House No. 211, Gali No. 10 in Jafrabad. At the youthful age of 22, he was found in possession of one pistol and five live cartridges. Notably, he was earlier involved in a robbery case in 2023 in Loni, Uttar Pradesh, showing a tendency towards criminal behavior.
He is Hashim, son of Abid, and lives at House No. 27, Gali No. 1 in Jafrabad. The boy is 20 years and lives with seven live cartridges as part of his discovery. For some purpose, it gives rise to apprehension as regards his intentions and future involvement in illegal activities.
The Yamaha motorcycle was later identified through its chassis number (DL-14 SN-5006), which revealed that the motorcycle had been stolen from PS Jagat Puri. Also seized was a TVS N-Torq scooter (DL-4SDC-7298) found to have been stolen from the area of PS Chandni Mahal.
A case under Section 25 of the Arms Act and Section 106 of the BNSS was thus registered at PS Jafrabad, followed by investigation. During the probe, the accused confessed to the crimes, and their involvement in other matters is being traced at present.
