Delhi Police Crime Branch: The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has caught a person for trying to kill someone in retaliation.

Altamas, the accused, is the 25-year-old son of Ameeruddin and lives in New Mustafabad, Delhi.

The cops say that what happened took place in New Mustafabad, North-East Delhi, on Friday night.

A resident named Umair was beaten by a group of people, including Faisal and Altamas, after a fight on August 21.

On August 24, the case was quickly filed at the Dayal Pur Police Station with charges under sections 109(1), 3(5) BNS, and 25/27 of the Arms Act.

Under the direction of Inspectors Pankaj Malik and Rohit Kumar, the Crime Branch started a probe right away. The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police moved quickly.

They found Altamas, one of the main suspects, using a lot of CCTV images and information from people.

The team used both technical monitoring and information gathered on the ground to find Altamas within 24 hours of the crime.

They did this while being closely watched by ACP Ramesh Chander Lamba. He was caught while hiding in a nearby area, which was a big step forward in the case.

Altamas admitted that he was involved in the attempted murder while he was being questioned. Afterward, he admitted that the attack was a response to an earlier fight with Umair.

The group, led by Faisal, shot Umair with a gun the night of the attack.

Even though Umair was hurt, he was able to take Faisal's gun away and avoid further harm as the attackers tried but failed to fire more shots.

The police are eagerly looking for the other suspects, such as Faisal and other people who were involved in the crime.

Altamas was arrested. He comes from a lower-middle-class family and works in a local clothing shop. His arrest has led to important clues that may soon lead to the arrest of everyone involved.
