An official order regarding the closure of schools has not been put forth by the government yet, however, students can stay in touch with their respective schools or colleges for the latest update.

While the civil defence drills take place nationally on the 7th of May, the banks are expected to remain fully operational all over India.

As of now, there is no notification or order declaring the closure of banks on Wednesday.

The local authorities and civil defence agencies have closely coordinated in ensuring that the drills go on smoothly without causing any panic or inconvenience to the public, however, some residents may notice minor traffic snarls in some areas, temporary road closures, internet shutdowns, or blackouts.

The day-to-day services of transport systems-arriving in, say, trains, buses and flights will stay put, despite the scale of the operations.
