CBI Faces Delay in Polygraph Test as No Lawyer Agrees to Represent Kolkata Rape-Murder Accused

CBI has Unexpectedly encountered a hurdle. It's no secret that due to to lack of competency of the Kolkata police the Kolkata's 31-year-old doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape case has been have been transferred to CBI. The Crime Investigation Bureau has faced an unexpected problem.

CBI wants to conduct a polygraph test on the accused 33-year-old civic volunteer Sanjoy Ray with preliminary permission to conduct a polygraph test but the process is getting delayed because of a peculiar legal predicament that demands a lawyer for the process.

The polygraph test is popularly known as the Lie detector test thanks to the movies but it works for real-life criminals it reacts to heartbeat, changes in breathing, sweating, and blood pressure when asked the accused a question, and the accused should answer yes or no.

Sanjoy too had to go through the test but it had to be postponed due to the absence of a legal representative as no Lawyer was ready to take his case. Sanjoy being the the most hated person currently in the country for being part of the heinous crime also has rights and CBI is mind full of not violating them. The test will only be conducted when only after Ray has been fully briefed and given his informed consent.

CBI is now under pressure for the protection of the accused as the heated atmosphere may get him killed and maybe a movie scene takes place where the accused gets killed just before revealing the crimes and it has a high chance because we have seen no respect for the case when it was within KOLKATA authorities and it even showcases that there is a big scandal going on behind the pictures and strong people are involved it.

R G Kar’s former principal Dr. Sandip Ghosh can also be the subject of the polygraph test regarding the rape and murder case of the young doctor. He is still being interrogated by CBI and has avoided any confrontation with the Media
