In the blame game, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been lashing out at the Trinamool Congress government of West Bengal over the law and order situation in the state and her party is characterized as a party sheltering rapists and women are not at all safe in Bengal until TMC is around.

On Tuesday, BJP national president JP Nadda also claimed that he has received a report by the fact-finding team, which the party had constituted with an aim of convening an inquiry into the gang-rape at South Calcutta Law College.

The 24-year-old first-year student of law in the South Calcutta Law College claimed that she had been raped by Monojit Mishra, the security guard in the office of South Calcutta Law College. Mishra was in the act of committing the crime and the other two culprits were the senior students guarding this room.

In the complaint of the survivor, it was stated that Mishra had suggested to her, outside the room of the Union, to be married to him. However, when the woman preferred to move away, he hauled her to the guard room and raped her. Even when she begged and pleaded with him, Mishra did not listen and raped her.

The statements in her complaint are supported by a number of evidences such as the medical examination done to the survivor, the CCTV footage of the college as well the tests carried out on Monojit Mishra.
