Shooter Arrested in Bihar Businessman Gopal Khemka Murder Case; Mastermind Also Nabbed
Police confirmed on Tuesday that the alleged mastermind in the murder of a prominent businessman Gopal Khemka was arrested.

Police confirmed on Tuesday that the alleged mastermind in the murder of a prominent businessman Gopal Khemka was arrested. Trader Ashok Saw who has been identified as the accused is suspected to have masterminded the killing as he is the person who has supposedly facilitated a contract worth 10 lakh rupees.

As per the police, shooter Umesh Yadav was paid in advance the sum of Rs 1 lakh out of the total respect of the contract. The police also have retrieved materials that are important in the case such as the motor cycle and pistol used in the murder, 80 live cartridges, 2 mobile phones, and 1 lakh rupees.
It was discovered that following the commission of his crime, Umesh Yadav hunkered down a bit at the Udaygiri Apartment, which is obviously owned by yet another power Patna businessman. Police yesterday raided his apartment after acting on a tip off and took this businessman to serve as a witness.
Gopal Khemka was gunned down out of his house in Gandhi Maidan area on July 4 around 11 40 pm. He was on his way back home when the two spotters informed them of his visit to the Bankipur Club to the shooter.
An accomplice followed Khemka after he left the club, another one waited beside Biskoman Tower, which was done in order to complete the murder as planned. The shooter, according to the report, was already positioned himself near the residence of Khemka awaiting the coup de grace.

A total of over a dozen suspects have been detained by Police in Patna on Sunday in connection with conspiracy behind the murder of Gopal Khemka, one of the suspects being caught when he reached funeral place of the industrialist.
Bihar Police is already investigating the high-profile crime and it suspects that gangster Ajay Verma- lying in jail in Beur Jail - has carried out the killing. Police also assume that the murder was caused by a land dispute
Another important accused Raja who had been allegedly providing the murder weapon was also killed early in the morning of Tuesday in an encounter with the police in the Mal Salami area of Patna City.
When police came to arrest Raja, police said he began firing and police fired back killing him. A pistol, cartridges, and shells were taken at the scene of encounter.
