Bihar: Class 10 Student Falls to Death After Monkeys Push Her Off Roof
Eyewitnesses were certain monkeys came onto the roof in a troop and started harassing her. Priya was so frightened she could hardly move.

Bihar: A young girl from Bihar, Priya Kumar, suddenly stumbled while studying on the rooftop and ended up crashing on the ground below, all because some monkeys were pushing and pushing her off.
Following her fright due to the invasion, she remained frozen to the spot. Villagers suggested sprinting down the stairway.

It's then stated that she attempted to run away but was beset by aggressive monkeys jumping very close to her, and during this scramble, a monkey actually pushed her, wrote ABP News.
Priya could not withstand the fall but broke a bone or two.
She was grievously injured, as her skull and other body parts suffered grave trauma.
Her family carried her to Siwan Sadar Hospital for treatment, but when two doctors checked her, they declared her dead due to multiple injuries.
Sujeet Kumar Chaudhary, the Station House Officer of the Bhagwanpur police station, said that the girl's family members refused to conduct a post-mortem.

The monkeys had been causing problems in the area for some time, villagers informed.
The family of the deceased has demanded that no post-mortem be performed, according to authorities.
"When we learned about the incident, we went there for the investigation. The family members admitted the girl to Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared her dead due to multiple injuries. The family members refused to conduct a post-mortem in this case and have not lodged any complaint against anyone," Chaudhary was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
Several others, including a railway staff member working at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and a child from a housing society in Mahalaxmi in Mumbai, were similarly hurt by monkeys last year.
The two injured have been taken to a hospital, the forest department official confirmed.
