Babil Khan’s Family Clarifies Viral Video: Names Like Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor Were Praised, Not Criticized
In fact, the video of Babil Khan, son of the late Irrfan Khan, has gone viral showing him weeping and blasting Bollywood.

Babil Khan’s Family Clarifies Viral Video: A video of Babil Khan, the son of late actor Irrfan Khan, is making rounds on Reddit, leaving fans very concerned. In this emotional video, one can see Babil very dewy-eyed calling up on Bollywood. "Bollywood is so f***ed; Bollywood is so, so rude," said Babil. He goes on to mention a few names — including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor — and outsiders like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, and Adarsh Gourav when trying to express his feelings of alienation.
It's still uncertain what initiated the video, but many on the Internet have shown worry over Babil's mental state. Many on Reddit speculated whether he was feeling isolated or like an outsider in the industry, while others wondered whether the young actor might perhaps be going through something more serious and urged everyone to act a little kinder and understand it better.

At present, Babil hasn't made any statements regarding the video, and the video isn't even available on his Instagram Stories, but certainly did ring a bell with the audience and definitely opened conversations about mental health and the emotional toll of dealing with Bollywood.
In the video, he can be heard saying, “What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and Arijit Singh. There are so many more names. Bollywood is so f*****. Bollywood is so screwed."

In another part of the video, he says, “Bollywood is the most fakest, fakest, fakest industry that I’ve ever ever been a part of. But there are few people that want Bollywood to be better…I got to show to you so much more, so much more, so much more. I have so much more to give you."
The original poster claimed to have removed the video uploaded to Instagram after a short length of time.

Reddit members commented on the post, expressing concern. One user wrote, “God this is really sad. He’s going through a lot." Another wrote, “Somethings clearly have happened. He is young and vulnerable in a very very competitive space without a father. I hope he is given help and brushes this off as a one time event and comes back stronger than ever!"
This last week, actor Babil Khan commemorated his father, Irrfan Khan, on the fifth anniversary of his death with a post on Instagram. On the date of his death, Irrfan Khan revealed that he was suffering from neuroendocrine cancer, which began to affect the course of treatment in a UK facility for a year before returning to India in February 2019. Later, he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai suffering from a colon infection due to this illness. He was seen fading away at the age of 53 on April 29.
