Attempt to Murder Case Solved by Seelampur Police: Four Arrested, Weapons Recovered

Matrimonial dispute leads to gunshot injury

Seelampur shooting incident details: A UP married woman sustained a bullet injury during an argument between family members. The lady was identified as Saadma from Delhi.

However, the case was successfully handled by the PS Seelampur team, Delhi Police, and all four accused were arrested.

The official got to know about the incident on Wednesday, October 16 when a woman was admitted to the GTB Hospital after getting injured from a bullet.

During the investigation, a married woman named Sadia, 21 years old from Ghaziabad, UP was going through some matrimonial disputes with her husband's family who is identified as Zeeshan from Delhi.

It was also found that Zeeshan's wife wasn’t happy with the marriage and had family arguments quite often.

As per the official reports, the bond between Sadia and her sister-in-law wasn’t that good, she did not like her sister-in-law and suggested living separately from the Zeeshan family.

On Wednesday, when Sadia's husband brought a pizza home and split it up among the family members, Sadia got furious and called four brothers, Tafseer, Shahzad, Gulrej, and Muntahir.

As soon as Sadia's four arrived, they got into a big argument with the Zeeshan family, and during the argument one of the four brothers identified as Muntahir took out his bullet and opened fire which hit Javed's wife Saadma's stomach.

However, the injury from the bullet in her stomach wasn’t that serious and she was immediately admitted to the GTB Hospital, where she is currently under treatment.

An FIR was registered by Saadma’s husband Javed under No 413/24 dt 17.10.24, U/s 109(1)/61(2)/3(5) BNS & 25/27 Arms Act at the P.S Seelampur, Delhi and investigation is still going on.

Sources told TNB that the authorities got the information about the firing incident from a secret informer before the arrival of the official information and immediate action was taken by the PS Seelampur team led by Inspector Kuldeep Singh along with IO, ASI Baburam, HC Navneesh, HC Dinesh, Ct. Manish and Ct. Inderjeet.

As soon as the team reached the incident spot, Delhi Police arrest four accused under the supervision of ACP Sh. Naresh Chandra. The main suspect Muntehir was arrested with the pistol with four live rounds and one empty shell.

The investigation is still going on and more updates are expected to arrive.
