Rajkummar Rao Acknowledges Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s Star Power: ‘Ranveer Killed It in’

Rajkummar Rao on Ranbir Kapoor star power: The Stree 2 starrer actor Rajkummar Rao is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video.

After enjoying the success of two back-to-back hit films, Rajkummar Rao talks about Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. He said that he acknowledged them as big actors but he thinks that success is not measured by stardom.

In a recent chat with Unfiltered by Samdish, Rajkummar Rao talks highly about Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor. He said that they were "damn good actors" and "definitely bigger stars." He said, “I don’t see stardom as a metric, but I also can’t deny that it exists.

When your film Animal is doing Rs 500-600 crore and your next project is Ramayana with Nitesh Tiwari, which is expected to do even more, it makes sense. I also respect them as actors. They deserve where they are. Ranveer especially killed it in Rocky Aur Rani.”

Rao added that he is currently not trying to reach the stardom, he explained, “Stardom could be about how significant a project is based on your presence. If you’re the face of a Rs 200-crore film, that is one of the measures of stardom, I don’t want to do that in my life right now.”

The Stree 2 which features Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao earned Rs 596.87 crore domestically and Rs 553.87 crore worldwide. The film even crossed the record set by Animal.

Rajkumar Rao latest film Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which was released on October 11 received mixed reviews.
