PM Modi to Honor Team India: The Indian Cricket team has finally won the T20 World Cup for the second time after 17 years, it was all the efforts of the team that made it happen.
However, as India won the T20 World Cup, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Indian Cricket team soon after they return from West Indies.
The meeting with the Indian Cricket team will be organized by the Board of Control For Cricket in India (BCCI).
The Indian Cricket team is likely to leave the West Indies tomorrow and will arrive at Delhi on a private flight on July 2nd.
Earlier, In a few tweets PM Modi shared a lovely message to Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja as they retired from T20 International Cricket.

In the first tweet, PM Modi addressing the India team captain Rohit Sharma said, “Dear @ImRo45, You are excellence personified. Your aggressive mindset, batting and captaincy has given a new dimension to the Indian team. Your T20 career will be remembered fondly. Delighted to have spoken to you earlier today.”
PM Modi conveying the message to Virat Kohli said, “Dear @imVkohli, Glad to have spoken to you. Like the innings in the Finals, you have anchored Indian batting splendidly. You’ve shone in all forms of the game. T20 Cricket will miss you but I am confident you’ll continue to motivate the new generation of players.”
Prime Minister shared another tweet addressing it to Ravindra Jadeja, who retired soon after the end of India's triumphant score at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup finals, he said, “Dear @imjadeja, You have performed exceptionally as an all-rounder. Cricket lovers admire your stylish stroke play, spin and superb fielding. Thank you for the enthralling T20 performances over the years. My best wishes for your endeavours ahead.”
However, on Saturday India beat South Africa in the final of the T20 World Cup and won the trophy for the second time.
