He said that those who "see their 'messiah' in the person who killed Sambhaji Maharaj" are opposing both Maharashtra's identity and Maratha pride.

“Those who have a problem with Sambhaji Maharaj’s name, those who see Messiah in the name of those who killed him, aren’t they standing against Maharashtra and Maratha pride? Aren’t these people against our identity? Will Maharashtra ever accept such people?” Modi stated, emphasizing the importance of preserving Maratha history and pride.
PM Modi Criticises Congress for Anti-Reservation Stance.
Targeting the Congress party, he said, "Congress is opposed to both policies of reservation as well as to development. The party believes in "division, not development". Here he indirectly questioned their previous stance against reservations. "From the beginning, Congress has been opposed to reservation… Old advertisements which have gone viral today show the real thinking of Congress on this issue. They called reservations against the country and merit, Modi said. He also commented that Prime Minister being an OBC has messed up things even more for the parliament as his mentality hasn't changed much from the past era.

Mahayuti Government and Legacy of Maharashtra by Balasaheb Thackeray
Prime Minister Modi talked about the success of Mahayuti government, renaming Aurangabad to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, the fulfillment of a dream of Balasaheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena. He further stated that while the Congress and its allies will be working on the restoration of Article 370, and its plea for the separate constitution of Jammu and Kashmir, the Mahayuti government symbolizes the ideas of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Veer Savarkar.
Amit Shah Bashes Maha Vikas Aghadi as 'Aurangzeb Fan Club'
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also joined the debate, labeling the opposition's Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance an "Aurangzeb fan club." Shah accused Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray of abandoning the principles of his father Balasaheb Thackeray in his quest for power. "Aghadi only wants to appease.". He said that for power, Uddhav ji has forgotten all the principles of Balasaheb Thackeray. And here, Aghadi's opposition to the renaming of Aurangabad, and constructions of Ram temple; scrapping Article 370; and surgical strike against Pakistan shows that they are disconnected from the values of Maharashtra.
