However, a recent incident during the 45-day fair has led many to wonder whether some visitors possess any moral standards at all. A video circulating on social media depicts a man performing his act of urination inside a public changing room set apart for the devotees. Such footage has now gone viral and incensed viewers, who have expressed their disgust towards the man's behavior.

Unsettling confrontation caught on camera

On X (formerly Twitter), Divya Gandotra Tandon shared the video that shows a group of men confronting the man in an aggressive tone while he keeps apologising over and over. The man looks uneasy but keeps trying to plead his case, which raises the tensions even further. People are in a puzzle and are also angered because, according to the audio in the video, there was a toilet close by and plenty of opportunity for him to show even a modicum of decency.

This incident has raised the public's ire; many strongly demand action against the man. Some questioned how such a thing could happen in a place that supposedly embodies religious values. The video has indeed turned into a volatile topic across social media, with many users expressing their outrage.

One user said, “This is unacceptable behaviour, especially in a place as sacred as the Mahakumbh. The authorities must take immediate action.” Another commented, “How can someone be so insensitive? What happened to basic civil sense?” A third user wrote, “Such incidents are tarnishing the reputation of the festival, and we can’t let this go unpunished.” The other group had similar sentiments, casting the utmost disrespect on the sanctity of the event and demanding stringent measures to ensure that its dignity is preserved.
