The complainant says that that incident happened almost a year ago, on June 11, 2023, in Munirathna’s community office right next to JP Park in Mathikere, the report went on to say.
The woman, said to have links to the BJP, named Munirathna and three of his aides, Vasantha, Channakeshawa and Kamal in her complaint, the report says. It claims that Vasantha and Kamal took the woman in a Toyota Innova to the MLA's office where they offered assistance with the criminal cases she was facing. Once she arrived at the office, she said that she was overpowered and stripped and threatened with the murder of her child if she did not cooperate.
Victim claims MLA urinated on face
Ms. Sandeep claims that Munirathna directed Vasantha and Channakeshawa to rape her while he egged them on watching the attack. Afterward, she alleges that Munirathna urinated on her face in a final act of humiliation.

In her testimony to authorities, Munirathna also described a chilling episode where an unknown individual delivered Munirathna a white box and she alleges he took out a syringe inside this box and injected her with an unknown substance while claiming he would ruin her family if she told anyone, the report continued.
The FIR also stated that the woman had been arrested in previous alleged false cases filed at the Peenya and RMC Yard police stations allegedly at Munirathna's direction, and after she was released from jail, the same aides approached her and promised political protection.
The police made the charges against Munirathna under a series of serious sections of the Indian Penal Code.
As of publication, Munirathna, a two-term MLA for the Rajarajeshwari Nagar constituency and former minister in the previous BJP government, has not issued a public statement regarding the latest allegations.
