The white shirt he is dressed in within the video is the same that was recovered later from near the body.
Indore Couple’s Meghalaya Honeymoon Mystery: A day after the couple went missing during their honeymoon trip to Meghalaya, their disappearance became mysterious when CCTV footage came to light showing the couple.
The visuals, accessed by T7 News Channel, show the couple arriving on a scooter at a Shillong homestay on May 22, after which the families lost contact with them. The two can be seen handling luggage, before riding off again.
In the video taken from the homestay's CCTV camera, Raja and Sonam are seen carrying a white suitcase while wearing black jackets. For a while, they appear to be having a normal conversation. Raja is seen entering the premises and talking to the hotel staff while Sonam waits outside, takes off her jacket, and works on her hair. He then returns, takes out a few items from the suitcase, and passes them on to Sonam.

It is important to note here that the white shirt that she was seen wearing in the said video was found later near Raja's body.
According to police officials, the same scooter, which figures in the footage, was found abandoned near the spot where Raja's body was discovered.
Raja Raghuvanshi (29) was declared dead after being found in a deep gorge nearly 20 kilometres from the Shillong Homestay on the 27th of May. The body was located with the help of a drone, not far from where the scooter was found abandoned. The cops also recovered his mobile and a machete that was believed to have been used in finishing him off.
“It is a clear case of homicide. The person was murdered, there is no doubt about that,” said Vivek Syiem, Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills.
A murder case has been lodged, and a Special Investigation Team has been constituted to investigate it.

In the search operation are the Meghalaya Police, along with various agencies such as the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and even a Special Operations Team. As per the latest reports, authorities believe that a black raincoat with apparent bloodstains was recovered from somewhere near the spot, but confirmation from forensics is still awaited.
As per the earlier CCTV footage accessed, the couple had checked in to another homestay in Shillong on the 21st of May.
The body of Raja has been flown to Indore, while the exact circumstances that culminated in the former's murder, and Sonam's sudden disappearance remains a puzzle.
