Empty Chairs on Stage for Jailed Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant Soren at INDIA Bloc Rally
Despite the emptiness of the JMM executive president's and AAP supremo's seats, their wives Kalpana Soren and Sunita Kejriwal were seated on the dais.
On stage, there were two empty chairs for jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
Empty Chairs on Stage for Jailed Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant SorenL During the INDIA bloc's mega rally in Ranchi on Sunday, two empty chairs were kept on stage for jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) organized the 'Ulgulan Nyay Mahrally', and many of its workers wore Mr. Soren's masks.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Mr Soren on January 31 in a money laundering case related to an alleged land fraud. The same agency also arrested Mr Kejriwal on March 21 in a case related to the alleged Delhi liquor policy corruption.

The crowd raised slogans like "Jail ka tala tutega, Hemant Soren chutega" (The jail lock will be broken, Hemant Soren will be released) and "Jharkhand Jhukega Nahi" (Jharkhand will not bow down)."

There was scorching heat in the Jharkhand capital as workers assembled for the Ulgulan Nyay Mahrally.
In a mega show of strength for the opposition bloc, Kalpana and Sunita attended the rally, along with Shibu Soren, Farooq Abdullah, Tejashwi Yadav, former Bihar deputy chief minister of the RJD, Akhilesh Yadav, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and others.
At the Prabhat Tara Ground, 28 political parties participated in the rally.
Due to the rally, additional security forces have been deployed in the capital.
In Birsa Munda's fight against the British for tribal rights, the word 'Ulugulan', which means revolution, was coined.
