Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Phase 1 Records Nearly 64% Voter Turnout; Tripura, West Bengal and Assam Lead with Highest Voters Turnout
Many political leaders, old age people, and newly married couples appeared to give their votes.

Phase 1 Records Nearly 64% Voter Turnout: The first phase of Lok Sabah Election 2024 has finally ended which was held in 21 states and four Union territories including 102 constituencies.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced that approx 64% of these 102 constituencies appear to give votes. However, it's just an estimation, the actual percentage of people appearing to give votes will be released later today.
ECI' said in a press release, "The voting percentage is likely to go upwards when reports from all polling stations are obtained as polling is scheduled till 6 PM in many Constituencies."
Among these Consituencies, Tripura recorded the highest number of votes approx 80% followed by West Bengal at over 77%, Assam with 75% of the voter turnout, and Puducherry recorded 73% of people appearing to give votes.

Many political leaders, old age people, and newly married couples appeared to give their votes even many film stars such as Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Kamal Haasan, and others appeared to cast their votes.
However, following the Lok sabha elections, many campaigns have been set up, Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, will attend two rallies in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, and Bhagalpur, Bihar, on Saturday, while PM Modi will attend a poll-bound event in Bengaluru and Chikkaballapura, Karnataka.
The phrase 2 of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 will take place on April 26 and the results of the Lok Sabha Election 2024 will be released on June 4, 2024.
