Elon Musk’s X Platform Nears Payments Launch: Elon Musk wanted to make X an everything platform, in advancement putting their efforts into introducing a comprehensive payment service through the app.

There are strong hints that the new feature launch is about to happen. X is working to add a "Payments" button to its navigation bar.

The payment button significantly for transactions, balances, and transfers has been discovered within the app. X subsidiary X Payment’s accession of a money transmitter licence in North Dakota.

TechCrunch, the app researchers quoted reports that in the navigation bar of X, there will be spotted world payment. He found terms like balance, transfer, and transactions will be mentioned next to the feature, which is not yet confirmed that the development is in its final stage.

In a social media platform adding a payment method will be quite interesting which even lets people make video and audio calls with all users.

Linda Yaccarino, CEO of the company will release the teaser of the payment on X, through a video called Global Town Square which not only showcases a glimpse of the upcoming features on X but also shows that it's no longer just about sharing posts, it will serve for a lot more of purposes.

This makes an X a paid platform for anyone who wants to use it because Musk has already talked about making a paywall structure for all the users.

The massive bot influx on X is the main reason for this drastic change though he believes that people will be asked to pay for the service and this will decrease the bots on the platform.

As of now, he has not mentioned the X Premium subscription, but the platform will have a lower cost for all users.

It has also been announced by Musk that there will be no more ads for the X Premium+ users which seems strange on its own.
