Class 6 Student From UP Dies in Mysterious Hostel Death

Officials reported on Wednesday that a Class 6 student died in suspicious circumstances at his school hostel and a case is registered with the police to investigate.

According to Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dwivedi, 13 year old Anurag was the resident of Kasganj district and was residing in Gurukul School hostel. PTI reported.

The monitor of the class found blood oozing out of the nose and ears of Anurag in the morning when he woke him up on Tuesday. According to the officer, the boy was rushed to the hospital immediately where he was declared dead by the doctors.

Dwivedi said that it was yet to file a formal complaint, but six teams of the police were formed to carry out investigations into the matter, the report said.

Dwivedi together with Additional Superintendent of Police Diksha Bhawre went to the school, took statements of other students and staff and directed authorities to speed up the probe.
