Biden Exits 2024 Presidential Race: Democrats Under Pressure

Joe Biden is out of the presidential race in the United States of America he withdrew his nomination amid intense pressure from Democratic leaders as they were certain that Biden had lost every chance to win against Trump after the assassination attempt on him.

Biden made this announcement on Sunday 21 July 204 from his house in Rehoboth Beach, Del., where he is isolated because he tested positive for Covid 19.

Biden said in his letter for America "It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President," He added And while it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and my country for me to stand down and to focus solely on my duties as President for the rest of my term.".

With this announcement, Biden has ended his five-decade career in Washington that began in 1972 with an upset victory for the U.S. Senate in Delaware. He served as a senator for 36 years, and then as Obama's vice president from 2009 to 2017. and ran against Trump in 2020 and won by a 51% - 47% margin

Biden even withdrew from the debate which was going to take place on September 10 upon which Trump raised questions about Biden's mental fitness. In a Truth Social post late Sunday Trump said "Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC."

Kamala Harris has been endorsed by Biden as the Democratic nominee Harris responded that she's honored to have Biden's endorsement, and her "intention is to earn and win this nomination."
