Baba Siddique Murder Case: Mumbai Police Seek Extradition of Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother Anmol
Mumbai police has started the process of extradition of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and a accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique.
Baba Siddique Murder Case: Mumbai police has started the process of extradition of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and a accused in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique and the April 14 shooting at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence. Anmol Bishnoi has 18 cases against him. Police has moved court for his extradition as per ToI report.
Mumbai police has sent a proposal for extradition of Anmol Bishnoi. PTI quoted a senior police official as saying the proposal was sent after US authorities informed the Mumbai police about Anmol Bishnoi’s presence in their country.

NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for Anmol’s arrest. During the investigation it was found through Snapchat messages that Anmol had coordinated the attack on Siddique. Siddique was killed on October 12 outside his son Zeeshan’s office in Bandra East. The main shooter Shivkumar Gautam is absconding. 15 people have been arrested in the case and police are looking for Gautam, Zeeshan Akhtar and Shubham Lonkar.
Two arrested accused Ramphool Kanjoia and Nitin Sapre during interrogation told that Anmol had arranged the attack through another accused Sujit Sushilsingh alias Dabbu who was arrested last week. Sujit had supplied weapons and financial support to the attackers. He had also instructed them to surveillance Siddique’s residence a month before the murder. Police recovered a weapon from Sujit’s possession and found that Anmol had sent photos of Baba Siddique and his son through Snapchat.

In April Anmol had claimed responsibility for the firing outside Khan’s residence on Facebook. He is also wanted in connection with the conspiracy to kill Khan at his farmhouse in Panvel which is being investigated by Navi Mumbai police. Anmol was allegedly involved in providing weapons and logistical support for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29, 2022.
Mumbai police want to question Lawrence Bishnoi who is currently in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail. Home ministry has extended the order to prevent his transfer to Mumbai till August 2025. Lawrence Bishnoi has multiple cases against him including murder, drug and weapon smuggling, attempt to murder and extortion in Punjab, Delhi, Gujarat and Mumbai.
