The construction of the Ram temple became possible only after the Supreme Court's landmark ruling of 2019 in the Ram Janmabhoomi.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai said on Friday that some last-minute finishing touches are being applied to the Ram temple in Ayodhya, which is an important step regarding the construction work there.
Speaking to reporters, Rai said all heavy equipment will be removed once this work is done.
He said the "main work of the temple will be completed by October".
Rai stressed that public 'darshan' (seeing) should not be impeded, and said there are more works that are essential for the security of the temple complex.

These are the boundary wall which remains incomplete and has not started yet. He said these works will likely take another year along with an auditorium, washrooms and Trust's office in the complex."
The construction of the Ram temple became possible only after the Supreme Court's landmark ruling of 2019 in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid title suit, when Hindu litigants claimed that the Babri mosque was constructed at the birthplace of Lord Ram where there was a temple. The consecration ceremony was held on January 22 last year.
