Angelina Jolie ‘Relaxed and Happy’: Angelina Jolie is about to drop the lawsuit against Brad Pitt for physical and verbal abuse. Despite stepping away from the legal fight she looked stunning on the red carpet at the New York Film Festival. The Original Sin star was accompanied by three of her kids—Maddox, Pax and Zahara—looking beautiful and calm.
Jolie’s allegations against Pitt go back to a 2016 incident on a plane from France to LA where she claims Pitt got physical and verbal with her.

“She seems really relaxed and happy,” a source told InTouch. “It’s like she’s turned over a new leaf.”

The lawsuit alleged Pitt choked one of the kids and hit another in the face on the plane. She also claimed he grabbed her head “shook her” and poured wine and beer on her and after a long legal fight they separated for good.
Pitt however has denied any physical abuse towards the kids. While he acknowledged he was struggling with alcohol at the time he has always denied the claims of violence. After an investigation by authorities into the 2016 plane incident the case was closed two months later with no charges filed against the Bullet Train star.
In 2021 a judge gave Pitt 50/50 custody of the minor kids. Jolie contested that. Of their six kids only the twins Knox and Vivienne are minors now. Jolie then filed a lawsuit against the FBI and the Department of Justice to get “information withheld by DOJ and the FBI contains evidence of the harm.”
But by late September she had decided to drop the lawsuit and both sides agreed to pay their own “legal fees and costs.”

“Brad’s team has always contended that they both got full reports already and this lawsuit was just another way for her to destroy his reputation,” the source told In Touch. “But it seems she’s finally given in.”
She also wants to leave LA when her youngest kids turn 18 and maybe even the whole country. She said, “I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be … that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
“Technically, this is a victory for Brad,” the source concluded, and added, “but the damage has already been done.”
