3-Year-Old Trapped in Rajasthan Borewell: An ongoing rescue effort is happening in Kiratpur village, Rajasthan, for a 3.5-year-old girl entombed at a depth of 700 feet in a borewell for more than 20 hours.
This was according to the report from ANI concerning the involvement of officials from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), and local administration in the rescue operation.
According to Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Brajesh Choudhary, there is substantial progress in the operation as NDRF is making efforts to pull the young girl out of the borewell.

"The teams of NDRF, SDRF, and administration have been trying to carry out the rescue operations. We have placed a ring below the girl so we are hoping we can rescue her soon. There has been no deterioration in the girl's medical conditions," Chaudhary told ANI.
Why are authorities not being able to bring out the toddler?
Rescue teams are facing a mighty challenge due to the suffocated soil around the borewell, as per SDRF Sub-Inspector Ravi Kumar.
"We are trying to reach the girl but because there is a lot of soil around her we have not been able to rescue her right now. The soil around her is set due to the moisture but we are trying to dig in the moisture... As of now, we are not sure how much time it will take but we are trying our best," Kumar explained.

They have been continuing at the site right from the time the incident was reported for the girl's retrieval and safe return to the family.
Meanwhile, specialized equipment and techniques are being used for careful excavation and securing the area around the borewell, ensuring damage-free results on the child.
Medical personnel will monitor the child's condition to ensure a safe return while local authorities will ensure safety and minimize any disruption by cordoning off the area.
This unfortunate event is a reminder of bore well accidents. On December 12, a 5 years boy died after being trapped in a bore well for 3 days at 150 feet deep.
Authorities are looking forward with great expectations that the ongoing operations would ensure the safe rescue of the girl, despite all incidences of risks.
