Amitabh Bachchan KBC reaction: In a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, contestant Sumitra Dinesh Kapade asked the Kaun Banega Crorepati host Amitabh Bachchan whether her wife Jaya Bachchan complained about not giving her enough time due to his Kaun Banega Crorepati shootings.

The Big B laughed and replied, “Oho kya bataye? Yeh joh parivarik prashn puch lete hai na log yaha aake..usmei humko bada kasht hota hai (What can I say? These personal questions that people ask here, they really put me in a tough spot).”

The iconic actor also recalled when he was working three separate shifts and was not able to provide much time to his family.

He added, “Kayi saal beet gaye aur hum aagaye film udyog mei. Edhar kaam karna shuru kardia. Hamara kaam joh tha woh teen teen shift mei hota tha. Subah 7 baje se leke dupahar 2 baje tak ek film ek shift. 2 baje dupahar se leke 10 baje tak raat ko dusri alag film, dusra shift. (Several years have passed since I entered the film industry. I started working here, and my work was divided into three shifts. From 7 AM to 2 PM, I worked on one film. From 2 PM to 10 PM, on another during the second shift).”

The Big B also recalled that he used to work from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m, he also said that he said that his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan noticing this once asked, “Bole beta tum kaam bahut karte hoh. Hum bole bauji paisa badi mushkil se milta hai (Son, you work a lot. I replied, Dad, money is very hard to earn)."

While concluding, he added that he was not able to give proper time to his family and his wife Jaya was very supportive and doesn’t complain.
