Ambareesh Birth Anniversary: Malavalli Huchchegowda Amarnath also known as Ambareesh is a popular Indian actor and politician, especially Ambareesh is known for his good acting performance in Telugu films.

Ambareesh also received many awards such as the Film Fare Award for Best Actor for Olavina Udugore, the State Award for Best Actor in the Film Antha, and also won the award for Best Supporting Role in the Film Masanada Hoovu.

He was also known as Mandyada Gandu, which means "Man of Mandya" as became also became a political leader in 1994 and was a member of the Mandya constituency.

• Ambareesh career in the film industry started because one of his friends, Sangram Singh recommended his name to the Kannada Director Puttanna Kanagal.
• He also has the most lead roles in Kannada films, with over 208 films, and has a huge fan following.
• As of 2010, Ambareesh has broken the record of Rajkumar's 206 films and Vishnuvardhan's record of 230 films in a lead role.
• Mandyada Gandu started his political career by joining the Congress party but later left the party because he was not given the ticket for the general election of 1996.
• Malavalli Huchchegowda Amarnath's health started getting worse in 2014 when he was shifted to Singapore's Mount Elizabeth Hospital for better treatment but unfortunately, after four years, he died in 2018 due to cardiac arrest.
