Allu Arjun Granted Relief in Pushpa 2 Stampede Case: Allu Arjun, an actor and one of the accused in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case, has received relief from the Nampally court. The court has relaxed some bail terms, including the visit to the Chikkadapally police station every Sunday, after his counsel requested an exemption.

Relaxation in bail terms for Allu Arjun
This is a big relief for Arjun as the Nampally court exempted him from the compulsion to visit the Chikkadapally police station every Sunday. The exemption was prayed for by the counsel on security grounds. The court also permitted him to travel abroad. This was just a day before he was supposed to appear at the police station. After the ruling, the actor has already appeared before the police once.
Allu Arjun arrested and than bailed out
Arjun was arrested by police on December 13 from his residence in Jubilee Hills. While the Nampally court sent him on a remand of 14 days, the High Court provided him with an interim 4-week bail. He spent from December 14 in Chanchalaguda Central Jail before his release. Later, saw Revanth Reddy criticizing him along with the Telangana police. On January 3, the Nampally court granted bail to Arjun against two suities of ₹50,000 each. He was directed to report to the police station once every Sunday and not leave the country.
What happened
Arjun attended the premiere of his upcoming film Pushpa 2: The Rule, with family and co-actor Rashmika Mandanna, on December 4 at Sandhya Theatre, RTC X Roads, Hyderabad. His fans rushed forward to get a glimpse of him after he entered the theatre, which resulted in the death of a woman and her young son admitted to the hospital in critical condition.
The police arrested Arjun, the theatre management and a few members of security based on a complaint filed by the family of the victim. The court has directed that the producers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers' Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, will not be detained during the investigation.
