Akshay Kumar Sells 2 Mumbai Apartments for ₹6.6 Crore, Earns 90% ROI

Akshay Kumar Sells 2 Mumbai Apartments for ₹6.6 Crore: Akshay Kumar has recently sold two residential apartments from his property in Oberoi Sky City in Mumbai, according to property information checked by Square Yards. The said two properties were sold together at Rs 6.6 crore and were registered in March 2025.

One of the properties was sold by Akshay Kumar for Rs 5.35 crore, IGR property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards confirm. Akshay purchased it in November 2017 for Rs 2.82 crore. The apartment in question has a carpet area of 1,080 sq. ft. Stamp duty was levied to the tune of Rs 32.1 lakh, together with a registration fee of Rs 30,000.

The second property sold is much smaller, with a carpet area of only 252 sq. ft. The said property is sold for Rs 1.25 crore after buying it for Rs 67.19 lakh in 2017; profit for Akshay is 86%. The transaction cost a stamp duty of Rs 7.5 lakh, again with an added registration fee of Rs 30,000. This property is within Sky City, developed by Oberoi Realty, covering an area of 25 acres.

Only last year did Bollywood's father-son duo Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan take possession of multiple properties in Oberoi Sky City in May.

Akshay Kumar has many other properties spread across India. According to NoBrokerHood, apart from the duplex apartment in Juhu, Akshay and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, own a couple of flats in Andheri's Transcon Triumph Tower, a villa in Goa, a beach-view bungalow in Mauritius, and a hill at Toronto, Canada.

On the work front, the actor recently released the trailer for his upcoming film Kesari 2. He will also be seen in Kannappa, Housefull 5, Jolly LLB 3, Bhooth Bangla, Welcome to the Jungle, and, of course, Hera Pheri 3.
