Air India Suspends Tel Aviv Flights Amid Middle East Tensions: On Friday, Air India stated the suspension of flights to and from Tel Aviv, Israel because of the ongoing situation between Israel and Iran. The airline stated that the suspension would be continued until further notice.
The Airline owned by Tata Group offers full refunds to passengers with a confirmed booking to or from Tel Aviv.
“In view of the current situation in parts of the Middle East, scheduled operation of our flights to and from Tel Aviv are suspended with immediate effect until further notice,” Air India posted on X.

“We are continuously monitoring the situation and are offering a full refund to our passengers with confirmed bookings for travel to and from Tel Aviv. Safety of our guests and crew remains our topmost priority,” it added.
Earlier, flights on 8th August were cancelled by Air India to and from Israel. The suspension of the flights made people worried about a war in the area, as of the recent killings of senior members of the militant groups Hamas and Hezbollah.

Israel was blamed for the attack and Iran vowed for a strong response.
The safety measures are taken by the other Airlines due to the increasing conflict in the Middle East.
In an ongoing situation, the United States and Qatar leaders called Israel and Hamas for a meeting to resolve a Gaza ceasefire and hostage release deal, on August 15.
“A framework agreement is now on the table with only the details of implementation left to conclude,” they said.
“There is no further time to waste nor excuses from any party for further delay. It is time to release the hostages, begin the ceasefire, and implement this agreement.” The leaders also offered to present “a final bridging proposal” to resolve the remaining issues.

“Please exercise caution, avoid necessary travel within the country and stay close to safety shelters. The Embassy is closely monitoring the situation and remains in regular touch with the Israeli authorities to ensure the safety of all our nationals,” the embassy said in an advisory.
