Swati Maliwal Calls Police Says Kejriwal Aide Bibhav Kumar Assault Her: Two Calls were received by the Delhi Police at 10 am on Monday from the Arvind Kejriwal residence by AAP MP Swati Maliwal who claimed that Arvind Kejriwal Aide Bibhav Kumar assaulted her at CM residence.
The first call came in at around 9:34 am, and Maliwal came to the police station to say she would file a complaint later.
After her call, soon a group of police officers arrived at the CM's house and took her to the police station. The sources said Swati Maliwal left the police station after a period of questioning. There hasn't been a written complaint yet, they said.
As per the reports, MP Swati Maliwal visited the Arvind Kejriwal house at 9:10 this morning, but his attendant denied her a meeting.
At 9:31 AM, Maliwal called the police for assistance. At 9:34 AM, the call was transferred to the North control room.
She used to be the chair of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), a women's rights group.
Earlier this month, she was in the news for criticizing Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over the termination of DCW's contractual employees.
Reacting to this situation Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekar said, “Dont forget this is the same Kejriwal who also assaulted the Chief Secretary IAS officer.”
Amit Malviya said in a post, "AAP RS MP and former DCW chief Swati Maliwal alleges that Delhi CM’s PA assaulted her. Call made from Delhi CM’s House.”
He further said, “Remember, Swati Maliwal had maintained radio silence on Kejriwal’s arrest. She was not even in India at that time and didn’t return for a long time."
