The Aam Aadmi Party alleged that an Election Commission team had arrived at the residence of Punjab chief minister Bhagwan Mann in Kapurthala House, New Delhi, for searches.

On Thursday, the Aam Aadmi Party alleged that an Election Commission team had arrived at the residence of Punjab chief minister Bhagwan Mann in Kapurthala House, New Delhi, for searches.
Meanwhile, the Commission stated that a complaint regarding the distribution of money had been received, but the flying squad team was not allowed to enter the premises.

"We have got a complaint about money distribution. We have to dispose of the complaint in 100 minutes. Our FST had come here which was not allowed to enter. I have come here to request them to let us enter along with a cameraperson," returning officer OP Pandey said.
"The complaint of money distribution was received on the cVIGIL app," he added. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal also targeted poll body and said, "I don't understand this when it is the BJP leaders who are distributing cash and other items but the raid is being conducted on Punjab CM."
Delhi chief minister Atishi also spoke out on this issue and targeted election authorities for targeting the BJP and ignoring its violation of the model code of conduct, while sending a flying squad to raid the residence of an elected chief minister.
In a social media post on X, Atishi said, "Delhi Police has reached to raid Bhagwant Mann ji's house in Delhi. BJP is distributing money, shoes, sheets in broad daylight - that is not visible. Instead they go to raid the residence of an elected chief minister."
"Wow BJP! People of Delhi will give their answer on 5th!" she added.
This followed BJP attacks on the AAP alleging a vehicle being seized outside Delhi's Punjab Bhawan containing alcohol, cash, and AAP campaign material. New Delhi BJP candidate Parvesh Verma alleged that thousands of people from AAP have come from Punjab and entered the mohallas.
"I think that in the next 4-5 days, Delhi's security will be under threat. Thousands of people of AAP have come from Punjab. They do not campaign for elections. They have entered mohallas. There are vehicles from Punjab with 'Government of Punjab' written on them. The vehicle seized had the same words written on it, though it was a private vehicle," Verma said.

Demanding an investigation into such vehicles, he said, "I have filed a complaint with the Delhi Police and Election Commission to take prompt action over this. All such vehicles, especially those moving in the New Delhi assembly constituency, should be checked. The criminal record of the occupants of these vehicles should also be checked."
Information about a suspicious vehicle having registration 'PB' number parked near Punjab Bhavan with 'Punjab sarkar' written on it was reported to Tilak Marg police station. A search was conducted, and the vehicle was found to contain various pamphlets of the Aam Aadmi Party, multiple bottles of liquor, and cash running into lakhs of rupees, according to Delhi Police.
However, the Punjab government issued a clarification denying any allegations that the vehicle had any connection with the state government, saying the number plate was forged and fake.
