40 Bengaluru Schools Receive Bomb Threats: Over 60 schools in Delhi and Bengaluru received bomb threats via email this morning and the authorities and police were quick to act. In Delhi, 20 schools got ‘hoax’ emails while 40 schools in Bengaluru received the same message.
Emergency services including Delhi Police, Bomb Disposal Squad and Fire Department were rushed to the affected areas. Students and staff were evacuated and the premises were thoroughly checked. No explosive material was found at any of the sites by late morning and it’s likely to be a hoax.
Email copies with The Hindu show the message was sent at 7.31 a.m. from the ID “roadkill333@atomicmail.io.”

"Hello. I am writing to let you know that I have placed several explosive devices (trinitrotoluene) within school classrooms. The explosives are skillfully hidden in black plastic bags. I will erase every last one of you from this world. Not a single soul will survive. I will gladly laugh when I will watch the news, only to see the parents show up at the school and to be greeted by the cold, dismembered bodies of their children (sic)," the email read.
"You all deserve to suffer. I truly hate my life, I will commit suicide after the news, will slit my throat and slit my wrists," it further read.
The email was very disturbing and violent. The sender claimed to have placed multiple TNT (Trinitrotoluene) explosives in school classrooms, hidden in black plastic bags. “I will erase every last one of you from this world. Not a single soul will survive. I will gladly laugh when I watch the news, only to see the parents show up at the school and be greeted by the cold, dismembered bodies of their children,” the email read.

Authorities are investigating if the latest email is connected to the 12-year-old minor and also analyzing email headers and IP trails to track the origin of today’s messages.
Police officials asked parents and citizens to remain calm and not to fall prey to rumors. While today’s threats seem to be non-credible, the impact on school operations and student safety is huge and warrants full scale response.
With cyber units involved, officials promised strict action against those who misuse digital platforms to create panic. Schools are advised to be vigilant and follow emergency SOPs as the investigation continues.
