The 7 flights including one to US received bomb threats on X today. Security agencies conducted specific counter-terrorist drills at airports.
These threats on X came a day after 3 international flights from Mumbai received bomb threats on Monday, affecting hundreds of passengers and crew. An Air India flight to New York was diverted to Delhi and rescheduled and 2 IndiGo flights were delayed by several hours.
All messages on Monday were declared hoax after security and intelligence agencies, along with airlines and airport operators did the required anti-terrorist drills after bomb or hijack threats, sources said.
BCAS has roped in Indian cyber agencies and police to track the person or persons behind these threats.
