Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Day 20: Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s Film Set to Break Baahubali 2 Record

Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, has achieved huge success as one of India's highest-grossing films of 2024.

20-day run at the box office has been completed by ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ after its third Tuesday's business. The film stands at around Rs 560 crore nett. Deepika and Prabhas's film is making a queue at the ticket window and is ready for release on a digital platform soon.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will become the fourth-biggest film in India of all time at the domestic box office by outperforming the lifetime collection of ‘Javan’, before launching on the OTT platforms.

The film, directed and written by Nag Ashvin, is about Bhairava, a bounty hunter who aims to make it big in the complex. The cast of the film includes Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan in lead roles, supported by Shobhana, Pasupathy, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Disha Patani, and Brahmanandam. It was released in theatres worldwide on June 27, 2024, and gained tons of reviews from fans, making it one of the most highly anticipated releases of this year.

The movie was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

If 'Kalki 2898 AD' continues to maintain the same run, it will surpass the ‘RRR’s’ and Baahubali 2 overall domestic business in its lifetime run which was directed by SS Rafamouli and collected 782.2 crores and Rs 792 crore net in India, which will make ‘Kalki 2898 Ad’ the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time.

By the end of its fourth weekend, the film is expected to go past 600 crore. ‘Kalki’ gets its maximum business from the Telugu market. However, the Hindi market also contributed to its box-office success. It will be exciting to see where ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ goes from here.
