Zika Virus Hits Pune: As per the reports, six people have been reported to be infected with the Zika Virus among which two are pregnant women, the other two are reported in the Erandwane area, and the rest infected are reported in the Mundhwa area, Pune.
The Pune Municipal Corporation reported that among the two pregnant women, one of them was a 35-year-old woman who lives in Ganesh Nagar, Erandwane and the other one was a 28-year-old woman.
The 35-year-old woman was 14 weeks pregnant and the 28-year-old woman was 22 weeks pregnant.
As per the official reports, both the Pregnant patients are in stable condition now.

If a pregnant woman is affected by Zika Virus then it can lead to congenital microcephaly, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and other brain problems.
The virus is spread by the bite of a sick Aedes mosquito and is also reported to be transmittable like dengue.
The very first Zika Virus case was reported in Uganda back in 1947 and had a major outbreak in Brazil in 2015.
According to the cases, among the infected, most of them don't have any signs at all or have symptoms like fever, rash, conjunctivitis, body aches, and joint pains.
In a recent report, a 46-year-old doctor and his 15-year-old daughter both were reported positive for the Zika virus and showed symptoms such as mild fever and rashes.
