Yuva Movie Review: Hombale Films Enduring Romance with Machismo Persists in Yuva Rajkumar Debut

Yuva Movie Review: A fresh scion of the Rajkumar family, Yuva Rajkumar exudes machismo in every frame of the film. Staying true to the company's hyper-masculinity, Hombale Films blends hefty doses of action with KGF vibes in this debut film. In fact, the two films share many similarities, one of which is the protagonists' ability to stand up to an entire army by themselves. As with Anant Nag's captivating narration introducing Yash's character, here too we witness a similar narrative style focusing on Yuva.
Although this world seems to run on steroids, Santhosh Ananddram unexpectedly presents us with a copy of Aamir Khan's Dangal's climax, down to the slow-motion shots of Geeta Phogat lifting and slamming her opponent in slow motion.
Plot
During his engineering studies in Mangalore, Yuva encounters local thugs due to his volatile temper, straining his father's relationship. Yuva returns to Bangalore after finishing college to work as a food delivery person, learning about his father's sacrifices and life's struggles. However, when gangsters attack his family, Yuva shields them and confronts them to resolve the crisis.
Yuva Cast
Yuva Rajkumar plays Yuva in the ensemble along with Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Prakash Raj, Sundeep Malani, and Kishore. The film Yuva, written and directed by Santhosh Ananddram, was produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. Shreesha Kuduvalli handled the cinematography, Ashish Kusugolli edited it, and B. Ajaneeesh Loknath composed the score.
