The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh will now give an assistance of 25 thousand rupees under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana launched to promote daughters.

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh will now give an assistance of 25 thousand rupees under the Mukhyamantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana launched to promote daughters. At present, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 has been provided under this scheme in six different phases from the birth of daughters to their studies.
To fulfill this promise of BJP's Sankalp Patra, the Women's Welfare Department has included it in the 100-day action plan. Soon the department will send the proposal of Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana for cabinet approval.
Kanya Sumangala Yojana is a protective shield for daughters. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance ranging from one thousand rupees to five thousand rupees in six different categories to daughters from birth to their higher education. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wants the society to celebrate the birth of girl child as a festival.
