Yogi Adityanath: The Uttar Pradesh government will increase the pension of unmarried, widowed and divorced daughters

After the decision to increase dearness allowance to state employees and dearness relief to pensioners by four percent from July 1 on Diwali, now the Uttar Pradesh government has also become kind to the pensioners. Along with giving DA and DR to the state employees at an increased rate, the government is also going to pay DA and DR to the civil and family pensioners at an increased rate. Along with this, the government has also decided to increase the pension of unmarried, widowed or divorced daughters of pensioners.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had decided only after talking to some beneficiaries during the distribution of old age pension about a year ago that something good would be done for the unmarried, widowed and divorced daughters of all of them. The government believes that it is the most difficult task for any unmarried, widowed or divorced daughter to reach out to anyone for her needs.

Despite all the orders issued by the state government from time to time, the family pension of unmarried, widowed and divorced daughters of state government pensioners is not being revised. The State Government has also ordered for revision of pension in accordance with the recommendations of the Pay Committee 2016. He is still being paid a pension of Rs 9000 per month. Taking cognizance of this, the Finance Department on Monday issued a mandate to all the departments to revise the family pension of unmarried, widowed and divorced daughters of state government pensioners as per the mandate for revision of pension in accordance with the recommendations of the UP Salary Committee (2016). has decided.
