World News : Quad Leaders Summit meeting in Tokyo; PM Modi said - 'Quad' group has made an important place at the world level
The PM further said that despite the adverse circumstances of Covid-19, we have increased mutual coordination in many areas like vaccine distribution, climate action, supply chain resilience, disaster response, economic cooperation.
The heads of states of India, America, Japan and Australia met in Tokyo between Russia-Ukraine war and Kovid-19. Today the Quad Leaders' Summit (Quad Summit 2022) meeting was held in Tokyo. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida, President of America Joe Biden, Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese participated in this meeting. During this, many issues including the Russia-Ukraine war were discussed in the meeting of the Quad Leaders Summit.
PM Modi at the Quad Leaders Summit said that in such a short span of time, the 'Quad' group has made an important place on the world stage. Today the scope of 'Quad' has become wider and the form has become dominant. Our mutual trust, determination is giving new energy and enthusiasm to the democratic forces.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that a free, open and inclusive Indo-Pacific region is being encouraged by our mutual cooperation at the level of 'Quad' which is the common purpose of all of us. It has ensured peace, prosperity and stability in the Indo-Pacific.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida attended the 'Quad' fellowship event in Tokyo, Japan. During this, Japanese PM Fumio Kishida, PM Modi, US President Joe Biden and Australian PM Anthony Albanese applied for the Quad Fellowship.
