The cases of Omicron, a new variant of Corona, are increasing continuously in the country. On December 5, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared this variant as a Concern (VoC) and so far more than 20 Omicron cases have been reported in the country.

On December 5, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared this variant as a Concern (VoC) and so far more than 20 Omicron cases have been reported in the country. Out of which 17 cases have been found on a single day. Although the research on Omicron is still not complete, but experts believe that the third wave may come from Omicron in India if security is not fully taken care of.
Within days of receiving information about the first case of Omicron on November 24, this variant has spread to more than 38 countries. Its speed is being seen in India too. So far, Omicron cases have been reported in Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka in the country.
